The Attributes tab of the Schema Definition Properties sheet lets you quickly set information for all fields of an ESP Schema.

Name |
Name of the field. The value can contain any string. This element is used for descriptive purposes only. |
Code |
By default the code is generated from the name by applying the naming conventions specified in the model options. To decouple name-code synchronization, click to release the = button to the right of the Code field. |
ESP Datatype |
Select from the list of supported ESP datatypes. For more information on supported datatypes and conversions, see related information in PowerDesigner>Core Features Guide. |
Data Type (Internal PowerDesigner datatype) |
Select from the list of supported datatypes. For more information on supported datatypes and conversions, see related information in PowerDesigner>Core Features Guide. |
Length | Required for money data. Limited to precision 38. Precision must be the same on Sybase IQ and ASE. Not used for other datatypes. |

Domain |
Specifies a domain which defines the datatype and related data characteristics for the schema attribute. It may also indicate check parameters, and business rules. Select a domain from the list, or click the Ellipsis button to create a new domain in the List of Domains. |
