Contacts Menus

The Contacts List, Contacts Details, and Edit Contact menus provide quick access to the most common tasks for managing your contacts.

The menu options are listed in alphabetical order. The order in which the options appear depends on the menu type. The Detail and Edit menus are dynamic, based on available details and cursor position. Some menu options, such as calling or sending e-mail messages to the contact, are available only for those Mobile Sales contacts who are associated with an account.

This table contains the Mobile Sales menu options, not all menu options.

Contacts Menu Options (Alphabetical Order)
Menu option	Appears in List, Details, or Edit menu?	Description
Add to BlackBerry Contacts	List, Details	Add the selected Mobile Sales contact to the native BlackBerry contacts list. If you do not see this menu option, you already added the contact to your native BlackBerry contacts list.
Call `<phone_number>`	Details	Places a call to the highlighted phone number.
Cancel Changes	Details	Appears when you highlight the error messages. For new objects, the object is deleted. For edits to an existing object, the data is reverted.
Clear Messages	Details	Appears when you highlight the warning messages on the fact sheet.
Edit	List, Details	Opens the Edit Contact window.
E-mail `<e-mail_address>`	Details	Opens a message to the highlighted e-mail address.
Fix It	Details	Appears when you highlight the error messages. This option opens the Edit window, where you can fix the errors.
Go to Home	List, Details	Displays the Mobile Sales home screen.
New Activity	List, Details	Define a new activity for the contact.
New Contact	List	Opens the New Contact window.
New Lead	List, Details	Define a new lead for the contact.
New Opportunity	List, Details	Define a new opportunity for the contact.
Options	List, Details	(Contacts List screen) Opens the Contact List Options window, where you indicate display options for the all contacts. (Contact fact sheet) Opens the Contact Details Options window, where you indicate the fields that appear for this contact.
Save	Edit	Saves the changes to the contact.
SMS `<phone_number>`	Details	Opens a messaging window for the highlighted phone number.
View	List	Shows the fact sheet for the highlighted contact.
View Activities	Details	Shows all the activities associated with the contact.
View BlackBerry Contacts	List, Details	Opens the native BlackBerry contacts list.
View Interactions	Details	Shows the past, current, and future interactions (leads, opportunities, or activities) associated with the contact.
View Leads	Details	Shows the leads associated with the contact.
View on Map	Details	Shows the highlighted contact address on a map.
View Opportunities	Details	Shows the past, current, and future opportunties associated with the contact.
View Recent	List	Shows the most recent contacts viewed, with the most recent on top.
View Relationships	Details	Shows all the relationships associated with the contact.
