Button Properties

Select the Button control on the Screen Design page to view and configure its properties using the Properties page.

Property Description
Key A key, unique within the current scope, that can be used to identify the button label.
Default value The text displayed in the label by default (optional).
Label position The position of the label in relation to the control it describes. Available positions:
  • LEFT
  • RIGHT
  • TOP
  • CENTER
  • CENTER_TOP
  • CENTER_BOTTOM
Has image When selected, indicates that the button uses an image, and enables the other image-related properties.
Key A key used to identify the button image source. You can selected an existing keys, or click New key to create a new one.
Default value The path of the image displayed in the button by default (optional).
Image Dimension The width and height, in pixels, used to display the button image.
Static image source The value for the image is the file path to the image file, which might come from the client or server side.
Options One of these:
  • Static image source – the value for the image is the file path to the image file, which may come from the client or server side.
  • Dynamic image source (Binary Data) – the value for the image is binary data. This can come from the client or server side.
    Note: Dynamic images are not supported on Windows Mobile.
