Defining a Variable for a Path Definition

Use the Advanced options in the New Designer Application Designer wizard to specify file path locations.

1. In the New Device Application Designer wizard, click Advanced.
   
2. Select Link to File in the File System and click Browse to locate the file or click Variables to define a new path variable.
3. (Optional) In New Variable, enter the information for the new variable, and click OK:

   Option	Description
   Name	Enter a name for the new variable.
   Location	Enter the location of the variable, or click File to select a file. Click Folder to select a folder.

  Path variables specify locations on the file system.
