Copy |
You can copy and paste a single screen at a time from one flow design to another. You can also copy and paste actions in the Screen Design page, on the same screen. This is useful when creating a complex action on a menu and you want the same thing on a button in the screen.

Paste |
Paste an object into a new location that you cut or copied. |
Delete |
Delete a selected object. |
Select All |
Selects all the objects on the Device Application Designer display screen. |
Preferences |
Takes you to the Device Application Designer Preferences dialog, where you can configure the appearance of the Device Application Designer pages. |
Image References |
Shows the available image references and also allows you to create new image references, and edit or delete existing image references. |
Variable References |
Shows current variable references and allows you to create new user variable references and edit and delete existing variable references. |
Style References |
Shows current style references and allows you to create new style references and edit and delete existing style references. |
Unwired Platform Profile References |
Shows the current Unwired Platform profiles and also allows you to create new profiles and edit or delete existing profiles. |
Mobile Business Object References |
Shows current mobile business object references and allows you to create new mobile business object references and edit or delete existing mobile business object references. You can also configure initial synchronization parameters here.

Show Properties View |
Takes you to the Properties page for the current screen and active control. |
Verify |
Verifies the controls and actions on the screen as well as the screens and connections in the Flow Design, and displays any problems found in the Problems view. |
Clear Verify Problems |
Clears the Problems view. |
Generate Device Application |
Select to generate the device application. |
Screens |
This menu item appears only on the Screen Design page. It allows you to switch to any of the other screens in the Flow Design. |
View |
Choose from these views:
- Zoom In – select to zoom
in on the objects in the canvas.
- Zoom Out – select to
zoom out on the objects in the canvas.
- Grid – this menu item
appears only in the Flow Design page of the Device Application Designer. If selected, a grid displays on the canvas and snaps
objects to the grid when you move them.
- Snap to Geometry – this
menu item appears only in the Flow Design page. If selected, lines of geometry for aligning objects
display.

Remove Tab Panel |
If there is only one tab panel on the screen, use this option to remove the tab panel and move contents of the tab panel into the screen display. |
Align |
If you select more than one screen in the Flow Design page, Alignment options appear on the
context menu, which include:
- Alight Left
- Align Center
- Align Right
- Align Top
- Align Middle
- Align Bottom

Remove Unused Alerts and Connections |
This menu item appears only if you are on the Flow Design page. |
Update Table Of Contents |
This menu item appears only if you
right-click on a Table of Contents screen in the Flow Design page. Select to create "Go To" connections
to any screen that currently does not exist in the table of contents. This creates a list item for each connection created by the table of contents. |
Create Screen Template |
This menu item appears only when you have a screen selected in the Flow Design page. This option adds a new palette screen entry after the separator for the stock screens, with the name selected screen. The template contains all the same content as the screen for which it was created. When you drag the screen template on to the Flow Design, it creates a new screen with all of the defined items of the original screen. |
Flow Design |
This option appears in the context menu on the Flow Design page when you do not have any screens selected. The options include:
- Add Mobile Business Object Screen
- Add Operation Screen

Cell Table |
This option appears in the context menu when you select the cell table control in the Screen Design page. It allows you to select a mobile business object with which to associate the cell table. |
Grid Table |
This option appears in the context menu when you select the grid table control in the Screen Design page. It allows you to select a mobile business object with which to associate the grid table. |
List Detail |
This option appears in the context menu when you select the list detail control in the Screen Design page. It allows you to select a mobile business object with which to associate the list detail. |
