Deleting a Domain

Delete a domain to remove it from the database.

Prerequisites

Database Version	Domain Privileges
SAP Sybase IQ 15.3 and 15.4	You must have DBA authority.
SAP Sybase IQ 16.0	You must have one of: DROP DATATYPE system privilege DROP ANY OBJECT system privilege You own the domain

Task

In the Perspective Resources view, select the resource, and select Resource > Administration Console.
In the left pane, expand IQ Servers > Schema Objects, and then select Domains.
Select one or more domains from the right pane and either:
- Click the arrow to the right of the name and select Delete, or
- From the Administration Console menu bar, select Resource > Delete.
Tip: Use Shift-click or Control-click to select multiple domains.
Click Yes to confirm deletion.
