Deleting a Role-Based User
Delete a role-based user from the database.
Prerequisites
Database Version
Role-Based User Privileges
SAP Sybase IQ 15.3 and 15.4
Not supported.
SAP Sybase IQ
16.0
Requires MANAGE ANY USER system privilege.
The SAP Sybase IQ resource is authenticated and running.
The selected resource supports role-based security
The user being deleted does not own any database objects and is not currently connected to the database.
Task
In the Perspective Resources view, select the resource and select
Resource
>
Administration Console
.
In the left pane, select
IQ Servers
>
Security
>
Role-Based
>
Users
.
Select one or more users from the right pane and either:
Click the arrow to the right of the name and select
Delete
, or
From the Administration Console menu bar, select
Resource
>
Delete
.
Tip:
Use
Shift-click
or
Control-click
to select multiple users.
Click
Yes
to confirm deletion.
