Deleting an Authority-Based Group
Delete a group from the database.
Prerequisites
Database Version
Authority-Based Group Permissions
SAP Sybase IQ 15.3 and 15.4
Requires one of:
DBA authority.
USER ADMIN authority.
SAP Sybase IQ
16.0
Not supported.
The SAP Sybase IQ resource is authenticated and running.
The selected resource supports authority-based security.
Task
In the Perspective Resources view, select the resource and select
Resource
>
Administration Console
.
In the left pane, select
IQ Servers
>
Security
>
Authority Based
>
Groups
.
Select one or more groups from the right pane and either:
Click the arrow to the right of the name and select
Generate DDL
, or
From the Administration Console menu bar, select
Resource
>
Generate DDL
.
Tip:
Use
Shift-click
or
Control-click
to select multiple groups.
Note:
Some groups cannot be deleted. If at least one of the selected groups cannot be deleted, the
Delete
option becomes unavailable.
Click
Yes
to confirm deletion.
