Deleting a Text Index

Remove one or more text indexes.

Prerequisites

Create a text index.
Authenticate with Sybase IQ using an account that has DBA authority or owns the table being indexed.

Task

From the application menu bar, select View > Open > Administration Console.
In the Administration Console, expand IQ Servers > Schema Objects and select Text Indexes.
In the right pane, select one or more text indexes.
Select Resource > Delete from the Administration Console’s menu bar.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
