Performing Coordinator Node Failover

Manually switch the coordinator role to the designated failover node.

Prerequisites

Note: Performing failover while the former coordinator process is alive may cause database corruption.

Task

In the Perspective Resources view, select a resource.
From the application menu bar, select View > Open > Administration Console.
From the left pane of the Administration Console, select IQ Servers > Multiplex Management > Multiplex Servers.
Select a node from the right pane and either:
- Click the arrow to the right of the name and select Failover, or
- From the Administration Console menu bar, select Resource > Failover
In the Failover wizard, click Finish.
