Granting Privileges to a Group

Grant system privileges to groups at the server or database level.

Prerequisites

See Enabling Granular Permissions.

Task

In the left pane of the Administration Console, expand ASE Servers > Security > Groups.
Click the Name field of the group, then click the drop-down arrow and select Properties.
In the left pane, click Privileges.
In the right pane, click Grant.
Select the privilege from the Grant Privileges menu that you want to grant to the group and click OK.

Only those privileges that are specific to groups and privileges that you are allowed to grant appear in the Grant Privileges menu.
