Creating a View

Create an Adaptive Server view using the Sybase Control Center Administration Console.

Note: Adaptive Server views are not related to SCC views. See the glossary to compare the definitions.

In the left pane of the Administration Console, expand ASE Servers > Compiled Objects, then select Views.
Select New.
You see the Create View wizard.
On the Introduction screen, select the server, database, and owner of the new view.
Enter the name of the view.
On the SQL Editor screen, provide the SQL statements for the view.
(Optional) Click Preview to see the SQL statements for your command.
(Optional) Click Summary to verify your selected options.
