Creating Engine Groups

Create groups of Adaptive Server engines or processes that run in parallel.

Engine groups are useful only in multiprocessor systems.

In the Administration Console view, select ASE Servers > Performance > Engine Groups.
Select New.
You see the Add Engine Group wizard.
Select the Adaptive Server in which to create the engine group.
Specify the name of the engine group.
Select the engines in this engine group.
(Optional) Click Summary to verify your selected options.
