You can avoid many SAP issues by meeting the basic prerequisites
required to integrate your SAP system with the Unwired Platform
development
environment.
Server prerequisites
Check the following for each Unwired Server in the production configuration:
- Verify that the SAP version to which you are connecting is
supported. Check Supported Hardware and Software
for supported versions.
- On Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008, verify
you have the correct versions of Microsoft msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll files, and that they are installed in the
WINDOWS_HOME\System32 (32-bit) or

you must also enable SAP mobile business objects to connect to an SAP R/3
system that uses a router. See Preparing
Unwired Server to Connect to SAP using Java
Connectors in Landscape Design and
Integration.

configured correctly. Search System Administration for the
topic EIS Data Source Connection Properties
Reference.
- If you are using the SAP Data Orchestration Engine Connector
(DOE-C), make sure it is configured correctly. Search System Administration for the
topic EIS Data Source Connection Properties
Referenceand its SAP-related sub-topics.
- If you are using Single Sign-on (SSO), make sure you are
configured correctly for the type of credential you are using—X.509
certificate, or SSO2 Token. Search Security for the
Enabling Single Sign-on
