Searching Contacts

Search to find a contact.

To find a contact quickly, you can use a text string to narrow the list of contacts.

  1. On the home screen, select Contacts.
  2. Find the contact.
    To Do this
    Search using a text string Enter a text string to narrow and display the results.
    View recent contacts
    • (Windows Mobile Professional) Select Filter By > Recent Items.
    • (Windows Mobile Standard) Select Menu > Show > Recent.
    Sort the contacts by company
    • (Windows Mobile Professional) Select Sort By > Company.
    • (Windows Mobile Standard) Select Menu > Sort By > Company.
  3. Select the contact to view.
