Monitoring Servers and Projects
This section describes how you can monitor servers and the projects that are running on those servers.
- Server status information
The Sybase CEP Server provides extensive status information to help you monitor servers and projects, including information about CPU utilization by a particular server, the number of messages received by a particular CCL query, managers, containers, workspaces, projects, and queries.
- Status Streams
Each manager provides one status stream. The stream may contain status messages about different entities, such as, managers, containers, workspaces, projects, and so on. The messages are published at regular intervals.
- Status APIs
Many of the Sybase CEP SDKs, including C/C++, Java 1.5, and .NET3, enable you to get status information by calling particular functions/methods.
