API Interface

This section provides an introduction to the various API interfaces.

• API Interface
  Sybase CEP provides several header (.h) files. These files help users to declare variables as data types in a platform-independent way, and also contain the function prototypes of the server and SDK library functions that users may call. The header file c8types.h provides the data type information.
• C/C++ Memory Management API for In-Process and Out-of-Process Operations
  The memory management API is the same for in-process and out-of-process operations.
• In-process Adapter API
  This section provides an introduction to in-process adapter API signatures, their purposes, and parameters.
• Server API
  An introduction to server API signatures, their purposes, and parameters.
