Create a C8::Subscriber object if you want to read data from a stream. You need one C8::Subscriber object per stream.
The following functions allow you to create and modify C8::Subscriber objects.
connect($uri)
Creates a subscription connection to the given $uri that identifies a Sybase CEP Stream.
Returns 1 if the subscription is ready to receive data; returns an undefined value if an error occurs.
read_tuple()
Retrieves the next message from the stream. The first row returned is the title row that contains the names of the fields. This is true even if you connect to a stream that transmits messages to other subscribers. A stream may have more than one subscriber.
Returns the C8::Tuple object; returns an undefined value if there are no more messages in the stream or a connection error occurs.
column_names()
Retrieves the list of column names. This is valid only after a successful connect call.
