If the cached information has expired, and a new row arrives in the input stream referenced by the CCL statement containing the remote database query, theSybase CEP Server will call a remote database server. You can set a c8-services.xml file parameter to determine how long the server caches responses.
Database subqueries are not blocking calls within Sybase CEP Server. See Remote Requests, Synchronization, and Performance for more details.
