A description of situations where will call a remote procedure.
Sybase CEP Server calls a remote procedure when:
A new row arrives in one of the input streams referenced by the CCL statement that contains the remote procedure call.
The information in the cache is expired. You can set a c8-services.xml file parameter to determine how long the server retains cached responses from the remote procedure calls.
Note that RPC calls are not "blocking calls" within Sybase CEP Server. See Remote Requests, Synchronization, and Performance for more details.
