Arithmetic overflow error may happen when viewing the Data Caches screen in the Adaptive Server Monitoring view.

Stacktraces containing an arithmetic overflow error message may occur in the Sybase Control Center server log. Arithmetic overflow errors may be reported in the status bar of the Adaptive Server Monitoring view when you are viewing the Data Caches screen in the Adaptive Server Monitoring view.

Workaround: Move to another screen in the Adaptive Server Monitoring view.

Exception error: invoking method getRelatedManagedObjects.

This error is encountered when you are trying to validate the same resource with another user at exactly the same time.

Workaround: Ignore the exception error and retry performing the task.

The value for the data size in mixed data and log database details can be negative.

The value of the "Data Used" metric displayed on the Details panel for a database with mixed log and data segments can be negative.

Workaround: None.

The mouse cursor constantly displays a busy indicator in the Databases window of an Adaptive Server Monitoring view if the tempdb is full.

When you are in the Databases window of an Adaptive Server Monitoring view and there is no available space in the tempdb, the busy mouse indicator appears until space becomes available.

Workaround: Check the Adaptive Server log to determine if tempdb is full. See "Truncating a log that has no free space," in Chapter 12, "Backing Up and Restoring User Databases" in the System Administration Guide: Volume 2 of the Adaptive Server 15.0 documentation for resolution.

The Adaptive Server-specific columns in the heat chart do not display the correct label value of "Normal", "Warning", or "Critical" if the threshold value is changed when you create an alert.

Workaround: Close and reopen the heat chart.

The Adaptive Server Monitoring Settings window: Screen Refresh Interval does not immediately take effect.

If you modify the Screen Refresh Interval, the new value does not immediately appear in the Last Refresh text.

Workaround: Go to any of the other windows in the Adaptive Server Monitoring view to trigger the changed value.

Keyboard restrictions in the Adaptive Server Monitoring component.

When you monitor an Adaptive Server, you cannot use the keyboard to select a row in any of the tables.

Workaround: Use your mouse to select table rows.

Sybase Control Center for Adaptive Server continues to log entries to the original agent.log file even after being renamed.

After Sybase Control Center server automatically renames the agent.log file, Sybase Control Center for Adaptive Server continues to write entries to the original log file.

Workaround: None.

The user preferences for an Adaptive Server view are not saved in the repository when Adaptive Server view is closed.

Workaround: Reset the values of these view type settings after reopening Sybase Control Center.
