Installing Sybase Unwired WorkSpace Only

This installation scenario creates a single developer workstation, which relies on network connections to Unwired Server and data tier instances. It is suitable for a developer environment, in which the Unwired Server and data tier resources are shared by several developers.

  1. Preparing for Installation
    Ensure that the host on which you are installing Sybase Unwired Platform meets the system requirements and is ready for you to begin the installation.
  2. Entering License Information
    Start the Sybase Unwired Platform installer and enter license information.
  3. Selecting Installation Options
    On the component selection page, select only Unwired WorkSpace.
  4. Completing the Installation
    Review the installation summary and launch the installation process.
