Installation Worksheet

When installing Sybase Unwired Platform, use the installation worksheet to note the pertinent installation details. Having this information available expedites subsequent installations.

Licensing and installation directories

Note:

If you are installing in a cluster, you must use the exact same Windows account and password on each node you are installing.

If security policies in your organization allow it, create a user account with ID and password that will never change. Use this account when installing Unwired Platform.

If security policies in your organization do not allow an account to have a password that is never changed, be prepared to update the password for the Sybase Messaging Service each time the password changes for the account used to install Unwired Platform. See Troubleshooting Guide > Troubleshoot Servers > Messaging Server > Messaging Service Failure.
