Follow this task flow if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Unwired Platform.
Upgrading From Sybase Unwired Platform Version 1.2
This task flow upgrades your existing Unwired Platform version 1.2 installation to version 1.5.2. There is no upgrade path supported from Unwired Platform versions earlier than 1.2.
- Plan your upgrade installation. Determine whether:
- To create an installation image on the network.
- You are upgrading a developer or deployment installation.
- What the configuration of your previous installation was.
- You will be installing version 1.5.2 on the same or different machines, if you are upgrading the deployment edition.
- Download a license file. See Obtaining a License.
