This chapter identifies the components that are required to implement a Sybase replication system for Oracle, as well as an overview of the tasks and instructions for installing and configuring a sample replication environment for Oracle.
Use the procedures in this chapter only for proof-of-concept
(POC) or testing, not for production. Only basic Oracle features
are addressed in the following scenario. In particular, Oracle Automatic
Storage Management (ASM) and Real Application Clusters (RAC) are
not addressed here. However, Replication Agent does support these
