The following subsections describe how to install the replication components and how to verify their installation.
For the quick-start process, Sybase recommends installing
all replication components on the same host where an IBM DB2 Universal
Database server has already been installed and is running with both
the primary and the replicate databases. This simplifies the quick-start
process and avoids the step of separately installing IBM DB2 Universal
Database clients for Replication Agent and for ECDA Option for ODBC.
