The update options of a DB Data Sink component allow a subset of attributes to be updated, instead of updating the complete record. To exclude attributes from update, unselect them in the update options window. See “DB Data Sink Update”.In the ETL demo projects, old records are outdated by updating the Valid To date attribute.
