Working with fixed length files

For fixed length file types, you must create the columns and provide the position parameters for each column.

Adding columns to the output

Double-click Text Data Sink to open the Component window.
Click the Insert a New Attribute icon available in the Column Names panel. You can edit the name of the generated column.

To remove columns from the output

Double-click Text Data Sink to open the Component window.
Select the column and click the Remove an attribute icon.
