This section describes how to install SDK DB-Library Kerberos Authentication Option using these installation modes:
GUI (graphical user interface) mode – installs the components using the installer interface.
Console mode – installs components in a command line environment.
Silent mode – installs the product without user interaction. This is convenient if you are performing identical installations on multiple machines.
If you encounter problems during installation, check
the installation log file Kerberos_Suite.log to
see a record of the installation process. Kerberos_Suite.log is
located in %SYBASE%\log\ (Microsoft
Windows) or $SYBASE/log/ (UNIX platforms), where %SYBASE% or $SYBASE is
the installation directory.
