This parameter is available only for Oracle and is only
applicable to Oracle RAC databases.

If no updates occur for a redo log thread of an RAC database for the number of seconds specified by the scan_eol_threshold parameter, Replication Agent considers the redo log thread to be inactive.
Even when a redo log thread is inactive, Replication Agent continues to check for new activity. When an inactive thread becomes active again, Replication Agent processes the activity without manual intervention.
If the scan_eol_threshold parameter is set too low, Replication Agent may treat all RAC database redo log threads as inactive. If the Replication Agent error log contains errors indicating inactivity for RAC database redo log threads that you know to be active, you may need to increase the value of the scan_eol_threshold configuration parameter.
