This section describes general tasks for working with commands in Interactive SQL.
All SQL statements can be entered as commands in the top pane of the Interactive SQL viewer. When you are finished typing, execute the statement to run it.
Enter a command in the SQL Statements pane.
To execute a command, click Execute all SQL statement(s), select SQL | Execute, or press F5.
To clear the SQL Statements pane, Choose Edit | Clear SQL or press Escape.
You can execute only a selection of text in the SQL Statements pane by pressing F9.
Other messages about an executed statement, such as execution times, can appear in the Messages pane. Use Tools | Options | Messages to change the appearance and content of message information.
