Use the Database tab to identify the database server and database.
Specifying database information
Enter the server name you used when starting the server.
To connect to a local database server that is not currently running, and to set your own start parameters rather than using the defaults, enter a start line.
If there is more than one database running on the database server, enter the database file name, without any suffix.
If the database you are connecting to is not currently running on a database server, specify the database file.
Enter the encryption key to the database server. The Encryption key field is enabled only after you fill in the Database File field.
Select Start database automatically to start the database specified in the Database file field before you connect to it.
Select Stop database after last disconnect to automatically shut down the database after the last user disconnects.
Click OK if you are ready to connect, or click the Network tab to specify any required network options.
See “Connect window: Database tab components” for information on the fields, buttons, and options that appear on the Database tab.
