Insert the CD.
Double click on the CD icon when it becomes visible on the desktop.
When a Finder window appears on the desktop double click on the SetupMac icon to start the InstallShield Wizard, then go to step 3.
To install SyBooks on your local drive from a shared location open a command prompt window and enter:
java -cp setupMac run
The InstallShield Wizard opens
To initiate installation, click Next.
The License Agreement window appears.
From the drop-down list at the top, select the geographic location for your installation of the software.
The License Agreement appears in the central section of the window.
Select the appropriate button to accept the terms of the Sybase License and continue with the installation.
Click Next.
Choose the directory where SyBooks should be installed.
The default installation directory is: /Applications/Sybase/SyBooks.
Click Next.
An Installation Summary window appears.
Click Next.
The Installation Summary window displays installation progress.
Click Finish when the following message appears:
The InstallShield Wizard has successfully installed SyBooks for <product>.
SyBooks installation is complete.
