Glossary Terms (RQM)

Glossary terms are clearly defined words used to avoid misinterpretations in a requirements model. Use the Description sub-tab on the Notes tab of a glossary term property sheet, to give a full and precise description of a glossary term.

Warning!  The glossary terms in the requirements model are deprecated and are replaced by the enterprise glossary model. For detailed information, see Core Features Guide > Administering PowerDesigner > Deploying an Enterprise Glossary and Library.

Glossary terms are attached to requirements via the Related Glossary Terms tab of the requirements property sheet. The Dependencies tab of a glossary term property sheet displays the requirements associated with the glossary term.
