To enable SSL for ASE OLE DB Provider, add Encryption=ssl and TrustedFile=<filename> (where filename is the path to the trusted roots file) to the ConnectString. Then, ASE OLE DB Provider negotiates an SSL connection with the ASE server.
ASE must be configured to use SSL. For more information

To enable SSL connections on Windows
Set the Encryption property
in the connection string to ssl.
Set the TrustedFile property in the connection string to the file name of the trusted roots file. The file name should contain the path to the file as well.
