Deploy Synchronization Model Wizard: Secure Stream Encryption Type page

This page allows you to choose the type of encryption to use for the secure synchronization stream.

This page has the following components:

  • Which type of encryption do you want to use   Choose from the following options:

    • RSA   Select this option to use RSA encryption.

      • Use a FIPS 140-2 certified implementation of RSA   Select this option to use a Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 certified security algorithm for encryption.

    • Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC)   Select this option to use Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) for encryption.

      Note

      Separately licensed component required.

      ECC encryption and FIPS-certified encryption require a separate license. All strong encryption technologies are subject to export regulations.
