This page allows you to specify whether you want to deploy the consolidated database synchronization model to a file, to be run later, or directly to a database.
This page has the following components:
How do you want to deploy to the consolidated database Choose from the following options:
Save changes to the following SQL file (and create a command file in the same folder) Choose this option to specify a file where the synchronization model is saved. Type the file name and location, or click Browse to select the file. Note that if there is a file with the same name as this model, it is overwritten when this model is deployed.
Connect to the consolidated database to directly apply the changes Choose this option to deploy the synchronization model directly to a consolidated database.
Which database do you want to use as your consolidated database Click to choose the consolidated database that you want the synchronization model deployed to. When you click Next, a connection is made to the specified consolidated database.
If your deployment creates shadow tables, you must connect to the consolidated database as either the owner of the base tables for which shadow tables will be created, or as an administrator.
