The Authentication tab shows the following information for the synchronization model:
Enable custom authentication for this synchronization model Select this option to enable synchronization authentication via an external server.
Type Select the type of external server from the following options:
Host Type the name of the host server. This option only applies to POP3 and IMAP servers.
Port For POP3 or IMAP servers, type the port number for the server. This option only applies to POP3 and IMAP servers.
URL Type the URL for the server. This option applies only to LDAP servers.
