This tab has the following components:
Message type Lets you select a message type for communicating with the publisher.
Address Provides a place for you to type the remote address of the consolidated user. The address is a string, according to the specified message type, to which the replication messages should be sent for the user.
For information about what address to use with a specific message type, see SQL Remote message systems.
Send frequency Select one of the following options to set the frequency with which messages are sent.
Send then close Sets the replication frequency so that the publisher's agent runs once, sends all pending messages to the consolidated user, and then shuts down. This means that the agent must be restarted each time the publisher wants to send messages.
In most replication setups, this option is not used for sending publications from the consolidated publisher to the consolidated user.
Send every Sets the replication frequency so that the publisher's agent runs continuously, sending messages to the consolidated user at the given periodic interval.
Send daily at Sets the replication frequency so that the publisher's agent runs continuously, sending messages to the consolidated user each day at the specified time.
