This tab has the following components:
Name Shows the name of the proxy table. You cannot change the name of the proxy table.
Type Shows the type of object.
Owner Shows the name of the database user who owns the proxy table.
Remote location Shows the name of the remote server that contains the remote table, the remote database, the remote database user who owns the remote tables, and the name of the remote table the proxy table is based on. This only applies if the proxy table is for a remote server.
Directory access server Shows the name of the directory access server that the proxy table is based on. This only applies if the proxy table is for a directory access server.
Subdirectory Shows a subdirectory of the directory access server's root directory. When you execute a query against the proxy table, only files and directories within this subdirectory appear.
Comment Provides a place for you to type a text description of the proxy table. For example, you could use this area to describe the proxy table's purpose in the system.
