Relay Server Farm Properties window: General page

This page has the following components:

Shared memory size Specify the maximum amount of shared memory that the Relay Server uses for state tracking. The default is 10 MB megabytes.
Verbosity Specify the verbosity. Errors are displayed regardless of the log level specified, and warnings are displayed only if the log level is greater than 0. You can set verbosity to the following levels:
- 0 Log errors only. Use this logging level for deployment. This is the default.
- 1 Request level logging. The arrival of all HTTP client requests is logged with the type of client software. This level also records the arrival and completion of Outbound Enabler requests.
- 2 or higher Verbosity levels 2 and higher are for Technical Support debugging purposes.

Launch rshost automatically Select to have the State Manager started automatically. This is selected as default for initial development and testing purpose. In a production environment, setting up the State Manager as a service instead of auto-starting is recommended, especially on Windows platforms. If the State Manager (rshost) is configured to run as a service, leave this option unchecked.
- Use default options Select to start the State Manager automatically using the State Manager command line defaults. This is the default.
- Use custom command line Select to start the State Manager automatically using the specified rshost command line.
