This page allows you to choose options for the Listener used on the remote computer in server-initiated synchronization. See Listeners.
To choose Notifier settings, open your model in Sybase Central, and then click the Notification tab in the right pane. See Setting up server-initiated synchronization in a synchronization model.
This page has the following components:
Remote database file name Type the name of the remote database file. The Listener needs this information to obtain the remote ID. The Listener needs to be started in the same folder as the remote database file, or else you must edit the Listener option file. See MobiLink Listener utility for Windows devices (dblsn).
Run SQL Anywhere MobiLink client (dbmlsync) Choose this option to run the SQL Anywhere MobiLink client (dbmlsync). See MobiLink SQL Anywhere client utility (dbmlsync).
Post a Windows message to a window class Choose this option to post a Windows message to a window class.
Windows message Type the message contents or the ID of the Windows message, if one exists. See the post command in MobiLink Listener utility for Windows devices (dblsn).
Window class name Type the window class name. See -wc dbmlsync option.
Additional Listener (dblsn) command-line options Type any additional Listener command-line options. See MobiLink Listener utility for Windows devices (dblsn).
Where do you want to save the command file that will be generated for starting dblsn? Type the location where you want the command file saved, or click Browse to select the file. Note that a Listener option file, dblsn.txt, is created in the same folder as the command file.
