Deploy Synchronization Model Wizard: Synchronization Stream Parameters page

This page allows you to specify the communication stream to use between the MobiLink client and server.

This page has the following components:

TCP/IP   Select this option and specify a port to use TCP/IP for communications between the MobiLink client and server. This is the default, and is recommended for the best performance.

  • Port   Type the socket port number on which the MobiLink server should listen. The default port is 2439.

TLS   Select this option and specify a port to use TCP/IP with transport-layer security for communications between the MobiLink client and server.

  • Port   Type the socket port number on which the MobiLink server should listen. The default port is 2439.

HTTP   Select this option and specify a port to use the standard web protocol for communications between the MobiLink client and server.

  • Port   Type the socket port number the MobiLink server should listen on. The default port is 80.

HTTPS   Select this option and specify a port to use a variant of HTTP that handles secure transactions. The HTTPS protocol implements HTTP over SSL/TLS using RSA or ECC encryption.

  • Port   Type the socket port number on which the MobiLink server should listen. The default port is 443.

Separately licensed component required

ECC encryption and FIPS-certified encryption require a separate license. All strong encryption technologies are subject to export regulations.
