This Column properties window displays information about columns that belong to a table.

This tab has the following components:

Name   The name of the column. You can edit this field.

Type   Shows the object's type.

Table   Shows the name of the table the column belongs to, and the table's owner.

Data type   Shows the object's data type.

Allows null   Shows whether nulls are allowed.

Default value   Shows the default column value, if applicable.

Comment   Provides a place for you to type a text description of the column. For example, you could use this area to describe the column's purpose in the system.
