Setting these options configures the Message Viewer in all places it can be viewed, including the Messages pane in the SQL Anywhere Console utility, and the Server Messages & Executed SQL pane in Sybase Central.

You can set the following options for the Message Viewer:

Messages only   Select this option if you only want messages to appear in the Message Viewer.

Time and messages   Select this option if you want the date and time for each message to appear in the Message Viewer.

Refresh rate   Type a time to specify how often Sybase Central checks the server for new server messages and updates the server messages pane. The default is every 4 seconds.
