The Backup Database Wizard creates an archive backup. When you make an archive backup in Sybase Central, you have the option of backing up the database directly to tape or to disk.
To make a backup (Sybase Central Backup Database Wizard)Connect to the database as a user with BACKUP or REMOTE DBA authority.
Right-click the database and choose Backup Database.
Follow the instructions in the wizard.
