Name   Shows the name of the object.

Type   Shows the type of object.

Creator   Shows the database user who created and owns the external object.

External environment   Shows the name of the external environment or language.

Date modified   Shows the date the external object was last modified.

Comment   Provides a place for you to type a text description of the external object. For example, you could use this area to describe the external environment's purpose in the system.

Update Now   Click to update the external object.
