Administrators can configure what metrics the Monitor collects and when alerts should be issued. You cannot configure the default resource, the SQL Anywhere Monitor.
Click the Administration tab.
Click the Resources tab, and select a resource from the list.
Click Configure.
Click Metrics. Select the metrics and alerts. For definitions of the metrics and alerts, see Types of metrics and alerts.
Configure the other settings as required.
Click Save.
When you edit the resource for a SQL Anywhere database, you must supply the DBA user ID and password for the database. These credentials are used to connect to the database and alter the installed database objects needed to monitor it. The DBA credentials are then discarded.
Click OK.
