sendNotification method

Send a notification to all queues matching the given name (including any such queue on the current connection). Returns the number of notifications sent (the number of matching queues).

Syntax 
UInt32 sendNotification( String queue_name, String event_name, String parms)
Parameters

  • queue_name   The name of an event notification queue.

  • event_name   The name of an event.

  • parms   Parameter string for the notification, if any. Conforms to the name=value format.
