This page allows you to specify the table mappings between the chosen remote and consolidated tables in the model. This page applies when the remote database schema in the synchronization model is based on an existing remote database.
This page shows the mappings between the remote tables and the available tables in the consolidated database. The Mappings Direction column shows whether the mapping should be bi-directional, upload-only, download-only, or not synchronized.
The table has the following components:
Remote Table column Lists the chosen remote database tables.
Mapping Direction column Shows the direction of synchronization between the remote table and the chosen consolidated table. The direction can be Bi-Directional, Download to Remote Only, Upload to Consolidated Only, or Not Synchronized. The default is Bi-Directional. To change the direction, choose a new direction from the dropdown list.
Consolidated Table column Shows the consolidated database tables that the wizard is trying to map to the tables in the Remote Table column.
Default table mappings are made on a best effort basis. Mappings may not be found for all tables, and of the tables that are mapped, the mappings may not be what you intended, so you should verify all tables mappings before proceeding.
To change the consolidated table, choose a consolidated table from the dropdown list.
You cannot proceed until all tables are mapped.
